Looks like Justin’s Mom is keeping a tight rein on Justin when it comes to all the screaming teens that surround him. Pattie, Justin’s mom is a strict Christian who does not let her son run free just because he is an international pop star. She has stated that Justin will remain a virgin and he has said that he will stay pure until the right girl comes into his life.
Patty has tried hard to keep the groupies away from her son, which is not an easy task to do, as there are some that have shown up wearing just their birthday suits. Justin does not hate the fact that some of his fans come naked to see him, after all he is sixteen. Many teen and older artists have taken the Purity Pledge.
The Jonas Brothers all wore purity rings during their teen years. They chose to wear gold bands symbolizing purity as a promise to themselves and God that they will not have sex until they are married. Some of the stars have broken their purity pledge and others have not. In today’s society, kids much younger than Justin are participating in casual sex, so I say kudos’ to Justin for respecting himself enough to take a purity pledge.
